December 6, 2020 10:52 pmWhat a breath of fresh air! I was gifted this Masterclass by a dear friend, Agnes Eu also an associate of Alvin. Agnes and I met 7 years ago while vacationing in Ireland. I live in the state of California, USA. We have once again been forced into a lock-down (I believe you call it circuit breaker?) due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases. I have been diligent in minimizing my contact with other people, wearing my mask and social distancing since March. Things loosened up a bit during the summer but as expected, once fall came and people started to get careless and large gatherings were taking place, once again, cases went up. And now, in lock-down, we must find ways to keep our bodies moving and our minds thinking.
The Intan tour was such a joyful way to spend an hour or so, escaping the dismal reality of the pandemic. The history of the Peranakan culture so rich and the clothing, slippers and porcelain are incredibly colorful and ever so detailed! I thoroughly enjoyed my Masterclass! I’m ready to collect some email addresses to share with others now!
