A night of Peranakan music

Guests donned their Peranakan best for an evening of food and local tunes performed by violinists at The Intan, a Peranakan home museum, yesterday. The event, graced by Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean and Manpower Minister Tan Chuan-Jin, is part of Project Intan, a fund-raising initiative started in 2008 which seeks to support the Singapore Children’s Society this year.
